A character consists of two parts:
An action draws on:
Resolve the action using the procedure in Roll Checks.
Use the canonical Stats page for all stat definitions. Mentalic stats belong to the Mind; physical stats belong to the active Embodiment. Do not duplicate stat definitions on this model page.
Skills, knowledge, XP, and skill points belong to the Mind, so they remain with the character when the Mind changes Embodiments. The Mind learns skills for physical actions but performs those actions through the active Embodiment.
An Embodiment never earns XP. Instead, each Embodiment accumulates its own usage time, and that time has consequences defined by the kind of body. A physical mecha or other machine may become due for maintenance after a usage threshold. A biological Embodiment inhabited by a Biosim or Mathsim Mind may become physically conditioned and may earn Embodiment Points through suitable training and recovery.
Embodiment Points are recorded on the specific Embodiment being developed. EP may be supplied by a purchased physical upgrade, such as hardware, genetic rework, or a drug package. An Embodiment may also spend accumulated usage time on an appropriate training process and attempt to earn EP directly under that body or training program's rules. Usage time never becomes Mind XP, and there is no universal automatic time-to-EP conversion.
Record each character on one Mind sheet and one separate sheet for every owned Embodiment.
